Dr. Frank Amoakohene has hit back at broadcast journalist Paul Adom-Otchere for questioning his academic and professional credentials.
This came after the March 26, 2026, episode of Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV, where Adom-Otchere criticized the Ashanti Regional Minister’s educational background.
He claimed, “I don’t know what he was doing before he became political, but I know that his doctor is not medicine.
It’s the other one, you know, in tech (KNUST), they have this four-year programme they do, you become doctor, you can perform something, but it’s not like med,”
“I get the sense that he’s just about playing. He’s not serious, he doesn’t want to do a debate of policy. He’s not like that. He’s just playing around and he wants to be seen, and I think that what he is,” Adom-Otchere added.
Dr. Amoakohene responded, saying he is a fully qualified medical doctor and not a school dropout like Adom-Otchere.
In a Facebook post on March 27, 2026, he wrote, “Tell Christmas Tree that I am a medical doctor. I am not a dropout like him, who could not complete his law education. Heat.”
