John Ntim Fordjour has alleged that the government is behind social media personality Angel Maxine, pointing to lawyer Oliver Barker-Vormawor as what he considers evidence of political involvement.
During an interview on Starr FM, Ntim Fordjour stated that Barker-Vormawor, whom he identified as a lawyer linked to the NDC, is representing Angel Maxine.
The MP argued that this legal representation suggests the ruling National Democratic Congress government may have an interest in the issue surrounding the social media personality.
According to him, the lawyer’s participation in the matter is more than a coincidence and points toward political backing.
He maintained that Barker-Vormawor’s known association with the NDC raises questions about whether the government is supporting or directing the case in some way.
It is important to clarify, however, that these statements remain allegations made personally by Rev. Ntim Fordjour and are not established facts.
The report did not include any responses from either the government or Oliver Barker-Vormawor regarding the accusations.
Even so, the claims are politically significant and may shape public opinion if widely accepted.
Critics of the government could interpret the allegations as evidence of political interference or favoritism in legal matters involving high-profile personalities.
For now, the matter remains centered on the public accusations made by the Assin South MP, who has connected the government to the Angel Maxine issue through the involvement of Barker-Vormawor. The controversy continues to attract public attention and debate.
