Four Daylight Notorious Thugs Lynched By Mob and Their Motorbike Set Ablaze on Accra Road

According to the report by gh-press, four notorious criminals were lynched and their motorbike set on fire by an enraged crowd on the bustling streets of Accra, Ghana.

The incident unfolded in broad daylight, leaving onlookers in disbelief as the furious mob took matters into their own hands.

The thugs, identified as Kofi Mensah, Emmanuel Aidoo, Samuel Owusu, and Abubakar Ibrahim, were allegedly caught in the act of robbing a local businessman in the city’s Achimota area.

According to eyewitnesses, the four men had been terrorizing residents in the area for weeks, stealing from pedestrians and small businesses.

On this particular day, they targeted a shopkeeper, grabbing his money and attempting to flee on their motorbike. However, they were not quick enough to escape the watchful eyes of the public.

A nearby vendor, who witnessed the robbery, shouted for help, alerting passersby who quickly surrounded the thieves.

“They were not even trying to hide,” said Ama, a shopkeeper who witnessed the incident. “One of them grabbed the man’s money, and before we knew it, people were chasing them down the street. The motorbike they were riding on couldn’t get far before the crowd caught up with them.”

The mob’s anger was immediate and intense. In a flash, they dragged the four men off the motorbike, beating them mercilessly before tying them up.

“We’ve had enough of these thugs,” said Kwame Ofori, a resident who was part of the group. “Every day, they steal, they harass, and they destroy the peace in our community. This time, they went too far.”

As the men lay helpless on the ground, the crowd grew more furious, and the situation quickly escalated. Within minutes, the motorbike was doused in petrol and set ablaze.

“We didn’t want them to get away with anything,” said another bystander, who asked to remain anonymous. “Let this be a lesson to others who think they can come here and rob us with impunity.”

Police arrived at the scene shortly after the men were killed, but by then, it was too late. Authorities are investigating the incident, but they have yet to make any arrests related to the lynching.

While some community members expressed relief at the end of the thieves’ reign of terror, others voiced concerns over the dangers of mob justice.

“This is not the way to solve crime,” said Kwabena, a local teacher. “Yes, they were criminals, but taking the law into your own hands like this is dangerous for everyone. We need to work with the authorities, not against them.”

The bodies of Kofi Mensah, Emmanuel Aidoo, Samuel Owusu, and Abubakar Ibrahim have been taken to the morgue, while the police continue to gather evidence.
